Description of the initiative
The course aims to give technical education on the Bitcoin protocol. Fully understanding how Bitcoin works is essential to be able to use and take full advantage of this technology, as well as to be able to analyze the causes and effects of certain phenomena. Within the course, the different technological solutions adopted by Bitcoin and how they interact with each other will be presented. Some of the topics covered will be public key cryptography, peer-to-peer architecture, decentralized consensus and transactions. Financial topics such as trading or investing will not be covered, as they are not related to the course objectives.
