This course aims at teaching basic Matlab programming to BSc Freshmen and Sophomores in ChemEng.

The goal is to provide the fundamental skills needed to solve some simple problems the students will encounter along their formation (particularly during their 2nd and following years)using simple programming techniques and functions available in the Matlab environment. The students will learn how to navigate the Matlab environment, learn how variables are defined, the basic commands, the use of programming loops (DO, IF, WHILE) and graphic commands.

Credits are granted after a final test where the student will demonstrate his ability in writing simple structured functions/scripts.
