Description of the initiative

The Challenge
GO sharing BE inclusive is the competition promoted by Bird Rides Italy and will reward the best project that addresses the challenges that micro-mobility sharing poses in the following areas: inclusiveness, safety and sustainability.
GO sharing BE inclusive allows students to
- deploy their skills and knowledge on successful initiatives in the market;
- contribute to the innovation process of micromobility sharing;
- present their work to an international jury;
- Win a scholarship of 2500 EURO.

THEME
Starting from the challenges that micro-mobility sharing poses in terms of inclusiveness, safety and sustainability, candidates are asked to identify innovative solutions that can make the service even more attentive to the needs of the city and its citizens.

CATEGORIES:
The project may include:
- technological solutions
- urban planning solutions
- commercial and communication solutions
- integrated solutions
- other creative ideas

that have an impact on the product, service and system, in terms of: 
- Prevention of risks to pedestrians, especially those with disabilities
- Prevention and management of user misbehaviour
- Decreasing car use and increasing the use of scooters as a sustainable means of transport

SELECTION CRITERIA:
An internal committee representativs of the sector and a teacher of the Department of Design will evaluate and select the best projects to be submitted to the competition, following the guidelines of the call for proposals therefore positively assessing projects that present:

- Innovativeness
The most creative solutions are those that make the difference

- Feasibility
What does the project need in order to be implemented? What are the costs and benefits of the solutions presented? What should be the commitment of the municipality? What is the commitment of the sharing operators?

- Completeness
A comprehensive project starting with the identification of problems and aims and leading to well formulated and justified solutions.

- Communicability
The presentation of the project and attention to detail

Note

STUDENTS MUST TAKE PART IN THE COMPETITION IN GROUPS OF 2 OR 3; THE GROUPS WILL BE DEFINED BY THE COMMISSION TO GUARANTEE DIVERSITY OF COMPETENCES.
Participation in the initiative is open to master's degree students with priority given to LM courses in PSSD, Digital Interaction Design and Integrated Product Design, Urban Planning and Territorial Policies, Architecture and Urban Design.
