Description of the initiative

Science outreach is serious business. But we swear it's also fun The science popularizer has the arduous task of making often difficult and complex science content accessible to the public. How? There are a million ways to do outreach. Educational workshops, exhibitions and social content are just a few examples. The science popularizer is therefore a highly multidisciplinary figure, which combines deep technical knowledge with great communication skills.

After the great success of previous editions, Trattare di Scienza - A (semi-)serious introduction to science popularisation is back! In Treating Science, an overview of the world of popularising science will be given.The course will be held in Italian and structured in three thematic seminars, a hands-on lecture and a closing discussion lecture.In the classroom will be Pietro Crovari, with almost 10 years of popularisation experience, together with members of the association On Air - voce alla Scienza (IG: @onairgram), which has participated in some of Italy's most important science festivals.
