For the enrolment to the Urban Planning: Cities, Environment & Landscapes programme there are two separate enrolment phases.
First ranking
In the first ranking published on 15 July 2024 you may be:
ASSIGNED - you must enrol by 23:59 (CET) on 17 July 2024.
If you do not enrol , you will be considered to have withdrawn from this enrolment phase.
You may ask to be considered in the ranking of the second phase, entering your preferences from 2 to 4 Septembre 2024.
PENDING - you will not be able to enrol, but you can express your interest by 12:00 noon (CET) on 18 July 2024 to be considered in the second ranking.
If you do not express an interest in being considered on a subsequent ranking, you will forfeit your place in the rankings and lose the right to enrol. You may ask to be considered in second phase, entering your preferences from 2 to 4 Septembre 2024.
Second ranking
In the second ranking, published on 22 July 2024, you may be:
- ASSIGNED: you must enrol on the programme for which you have a place assigned by 23:59 (CET) on 31 July 2024.
If you do not enrol within the deadline, you will be deemed to have withdrawn and you will lose the right to enrol.
You may ask to be considered in second phase, entering your preferences from 2 to 4 Septembre 2024.
- PENDING - you will not be able to enrol

If places are still available at the end of the first standard enrolment period, they will be announced and an update will take place. From that moment, it will be possible to register in the new ranking.
- Publication of any places available in the second phase: 10:30 a.m. (CET) on 2 September 2024
- Registration in the second-round ranking: from 10:30 (CET) on 2 September to 12:00 (CET) on 4 September 2024
If you have not already enrolled and have obtained a score in the test, rounded to the nearest whole number, equal to or greater than 60.00/100
First ranking
In the first ranking list published on 6 September 2024 you may be:
- ASSIGNED - you must enrol in the programme to which you have been assigned by 23:59 (CET) on 10 September 2024.If you do not enrol , you will be considered to have withdrawn.
- NO AVAILABLE PLACES LEFT - you have no chance of entering Politecnico as there are no available places left on your preferred programmes for the 2024/2025 academic year.
How to enrol
To proceed with enrolment, you must pay the first instalment. Access the Online Services and click on the link "Laurea (equivalent to a Bachelor of Science) and five-year single-cycle programmes: entrance or recovery tests and enrolment" select "Test Result and Enrolment" and click on "click here to enrol", answer the questions and select the payment method:
- IMMEDIATE PAYMENT by credit or prepaid card (PagoPA form 1)
Continue until the enrolment receipt is printed. - DEFERRED PAYMENT via home banking or at accredited Payment Service Providers (PagoPA form 3)
We advise you to re-enter and print your enrolment receipt.
There are no benefits nor reductions of the first instalment based on the final secondary school grade.
ENROLMENT A.Y. 2023/2024 - REDUCED INSTALMENT (information for the academic year 2024/2025 will be published soon)
If you enrol in 2023/2024 for a Laurea programme (equivalent to Bachelor of Science), you may be entitled to a reduction in the first instalment if your ISEE (Equivalent Economic Situation Indicator) for 2023 (use “Diritto allo Studio Universitario benefits”) is less than €27,740.
In order to be entitled to the reduction in anticipation of your prospective enrolment, we advise you to request and enter the date of your ISEE 2023 (use "Diritto allo Studio Universitario benefits") in Online Services as early as possible or at least 10 to 15 days before the period in which you will enrol.
To enter the date of signing the DSU (Single Self-Declaration), go to Online Services under “ISEE entry for enrolment”.
It takes INPS a maximum of 10 days to process your information and communicate it to the Politecnico. If you enter your ISEE later, our system may not process the possible reduced first instalment and you may then have to pay the first instalment in full.
The reduction on the first instalment is linked to your ISEE 2023 indicator and will have to be confirmed by your ISEE 2024, which you will have to submit from January 2024.
How to request a programme change
If you have already enrolled on a study programme at Politecnico di Milano during this academic year, in order to enrol on another programme belonging to a different School and for which you are eligible you must request to change programmes, ie to transfer your enrolment to the new Laurea programme. Your first enrolment fee will be held as valid.
To request a programme change:
login to your Online Services - Exam result and Enrolment, and click on the 'change programmes" link next to the date of the Urban Planning exam.
Send the Programme Change Request Form to the Registrar’s Office of your programme within deadline for your own enrolment.
The Programme Change Request Form can be sent via chat or as an e-mail attachment via the system www.polimi.it/contatti-studenti
