Inauguration of INTERDEPENDENCE
The widespread event of the Design System of Politecnico di Milano at the Milano Design Week 2024
On 16 April, "INTERDEPENDENCE - designing relationships" was inaugurated at the Fabbrica del Vapore: a widespread event conceived by the Design System of Politecnico di Milano – composed by the Department of Design, the School of Design and the POLI.design Consortium – for the Milano Design Week 2024.
A palimpsest of exhibitions, installations, performances to reflect on the relationships and connections that define the world we live in, through a selection of projects by students of the Politecnico and from about 50 international universities. Hosting the INTERDEPENDENCE initiatives, until 21 April, are the Fabbrica del Vapore, the Bovisa Durando Campus, the Salone Satellite and other venues in the city of Milan.
Attending the inauguration, for the Politecnico, Rector Donatella Sciuto, the Dean of the School of Design, Francesco Zurlo, the Vice-Dean of the School of Design, Anna Meroni, and professors and art directors, Fabio Diliberto and Francesco E. Guida; for the Municipality of Milan, Gaia Romani, Councillor for Civic and General Services, and Maria Fratelli, Manager of Special Projects Unit and Fabbrica del Vapore.
