30 scholarships awarded for sports merits
During the ceremony, the students' stories about their best memories related to sport
At the Arena of the Giuriati Sports Center, the 2024 scholarships for sports merits of the Politecnico di Milano were awarded.
The event was attended by the Rector Donatella Sciuto, the Vice-President of CONI Claudia Giordani and the Undersecretary for Sport and Youth of the Lombardy Region Lara Magoni.
This year our university has increased the scholarships from 20 to 30 and doubled their value, from €2500 to €5000.
Beneficiary students have also been given an annual pass for access to the Giuriati Sports Center, to help them train more easily during their university life.
During the event, the winners had the opportunity to bring and tell an object related to their most beautiful sporting memory. Some brought their first national team jerseys, others mascots from world competitions, and even goggles, photos and medals.
The ceremony ended with the delivery of the parchments by the Rector.
