Solidarity with the Iranian civilian population

Politecnico di Milano supports the civil population in Iran who is peacefully protesting against the regime, condemning any form of violence and repression.

With this message, we amplify the voices of our Iranian students calling for action. We recognize the pain for the conflict in their homeland and the sacrifice of those who, with their lives, defend universal principles.

What began as scattered demonstrations on December 28th has turned into death and brutal oppression. We intend to strongly reject all forms of abuse and despotism. We stand for justice, peace, and liberty, empathizing with those who have taken the streets.

Our mission is to teach young people respect and justice in all forms as a foundation for a better future. “When the University remains silent, it can feel isolating—as if our suffering is invisible.” These are the words of an Iranian student enrolled at Politecnico di Milano. We have no intention of leaving them unspoken.
