Marcello Restelli received the Oustanding Paper Award

Awarded for his study in the field of machine learning

Prof. Marcello Restelli from the Department of Electronics, Information and Bioengineering of the Politecnico di Milano received the Outstanding Paper Award for the paper "The Importance of Non-Markovianity in Maximum State Entropy Exploration", co-authored with Mirco Mutti (Politecnico di Milano, Università di Bologna) and Riccardo De Santi (ETH Zürich).

The article was presented at the 39th International Conference on Machine Learning, one of the most important conferences dedicated to cutting-edge research in the field of machine learning and artificial intelligence.
