A charge detection device is described including: a radiation sensor having a first electrode and a second electrode for collecting charges of opposite sign and configured to supply to a collecting terminal, connected to the first electrode (E1), a charge signal (SCH) proportional to an incident radiation; the radiation sensor defining a sensor capacitance (CDET) associated with said first (E1) and second electrode (E2); a charge preamplifier, configured to receive the charge signal (SCH) and convert it into an electrical output signal (VOUT; VAC OUT), and including an amplifier having a first output terminal (OUT1). Furthermore, there is an electrical connection between the first output terminal (OUT1) and the second electrode (E2) configured so that this sensor capacitance (CDET) is in feedback for the amplifier.
