Descrizione

The object of the patent application will profitably fill the gap between a fully-digital Single Photon Avalanche Diode (SPAD) array and a fully-analog Silicon PhotoMultiplier (SiPM) for single photon detection, with an event-driven readout, able to signal photon coincidence directly on-chip, albeit maintaining the x,y spatial information of which pixels got hit by the photons and triggered the output event.
