The invention has been developed in the framework of elastic wave focussing and confinement. More specifically, such phenomena are of paramount importance for the amplification of the performances of energy harvesters, i.e. devices that are designed to collect energy freely available in the environment, in the form of vibrational kinetic energy, and to convert it into electric energy.
