The operations performed to stop the bleeding of uterine are well known as balloon tamponade. In such a method, a deflated balloon is introduced through the vagina and cervix into the uterine and then it is filled with a saline solution to get inflated. Therefore, by the pressure applied on the damaged walls of uterine, it stops the bleeding. The invention consists of using a sealing connector to attach the end of a tube to a condom in order to avoid any possible leakage.
The invention consists of using a sealing (anti leakage) connector to attach the end of a tube to a condom in order to avoid any possible leakage when a fluid is flown through the tube into the condom to inflate it. Furthermore, the invention includes a semi stiff rod to be placed inside the tube to make it more rigid at the ending part to help the operator guiding the device only by hand.
In developing and low-income countries instead of commercial products, an emergency kit is usually used for the balloon tamponade. This emergency kit consists of a condom and a tube the condom is somehow attached to. The saline solution is inserted by a syringe or directly by lifting a full bag.
