Phononic Vibes introduces a new technology with a remarkable control and isolation capacity of vibration and noise.
The technology refers to the meta-materials one, these are materials with a micro-structure ad hoc designed to obtain specific characteristics, and in particular periodic structures. The object of the filed patent is able to offer the isolation property referring to the sole topology of the unit module, independently from the dimensions and the materials used.
Campo di applicazione
Phononic Vibes is implemented in the control of mechanical and acoustic wave propagation.
Examples of application are the control of vibration originated from the railway and intercity transports, industrial machines and constructions sites. For the same domains the patent-filed technology can be used for the noise reduction.
Phononic Vibes has a double advantage, from both the technical and the economical point of view. The solution proposed is able to reduce the vibration by different orders of magnitude. If compared with technology it is low-cost.
