Research Service

The Research Service is a university-wide support service with the scope of promoting and providing assistance relative to funding opportunities at local, national and international levels, to strengthen the University's capacity to access funding programmes. Moreover, it provides expertise in the area of project management, accreditation procedures and training. It works in close collaboration with other services of the central administration that contribute special expertise in the process of managing research activities.

The Research Service aims at stimulating researchers' participation in research programmes and at providing incentive for research groups within national and international projects carrying out targeted activity and project reviews. Special attention is paid to assistance in the context of the new Horizon 2020 programme.
