Description of the initiative
The mechanical-mechatronic and home system sectors are fundamental to the Italian production system. But how will they evolve in the future? What new skills will we need to develop in order to remain competitive and efficient in these sectors?
Through the proposed initiative, students will start from the conception of future scenarios of evolution of the two above-mentioned sectors, in order to define the abacus of the related skills, which will become fundamental in the near future.
The initiative will be carried out with the collaboration of an external partner who will enhance the results in exhibitions and publications.
In addition, there will be a cash prize for the groups that produce the most interesting scenarios for the partner.
The students will be engaged in:
- analysis of trends and existing product/service systems
- generation of future scenarios
- visualisation of future scenarios - creation of the abacus of skills needed in the near future
