Knowledge of the design of a Fashion collection (referable to the subjects of the Bachelor's Degree in Fashion Design), Sustainability, Communication.

Selection Criteria
The evaluation will be carried out on the basis of the Curriculum vitae.
Students of 1st and 2nd year LM of the Design for the Fashion System and those who have already attended the Passion In Action 2022 "SHAPING NEW TRAJECTORIES - ADVANCED PROTOTYPING", will be privileged; in order of arrival.
Selection is also open to students enrolled in the 2nd and 3rd year of Bachelor's Degree in Fashion Design with a specialization in Knitwear and Clothing

Description of the initiative

The initiative aims to design a CAPSULE COLLECTION - men/women - to create the new uniforms of the startup Free to X of the Autostrade per l'Italia Group

The challenge will go through all the phases of the realization of the project: from the study of the brief to the definition of the collection garments, from the research of the image to the creation of the inspirational mood board, from the choice of sustainable fabrics to the definition of sample data sheets, from the drawings on the plate to the final sketches.

The men's / women's collection will be aimed at FREE TO X staff of heterogeneous ages. It will include modern, informal, and refined outfits that integrate elements of wearable technologies and strategic details useful to facilitate the activity of the staff and reflect the start-up's vision.

The uniforms will be worn by the operators present in the numerous points of sale throughout the country during their customer assistance work on the functionality of the App (cashback service, information on Free to X products and services)For the management of the project, to which Prof. Barbara Mugnai will contribute, the students will work in groups to experiment with the process that includes collection design, research, and management of materials, the study of the positioning of the logo, color matching, definition of technical data sheets, rendering.

Each group will present its proposal to the Free to X Team.
A prize will be awarded to the winning group.
