Description of the initiative

The course is structured as a series of seminars held by Giovanni Caprara, Science Editor of Corriere della Sera and President of Scientific Italian Journalists.

Topics of the seminars:

  • 1969-2019: fifty years after landing on the Moon.
  • From yesterday's agencies financing space to today's Space Economy.
  • Observing the Earth: from V2 to today's constellations.
  • Asteroids: from the first approaches to the idea of exploiting their resources.
  • Space suits: from the first coatings to the "clothes" of tomorrow.
  • From the ISS to the station around the Moon.
  • From the first rockets to the big space launchers of today.
