Description of the initiative
The course aims at describing and practicing techniques for the collection and critical analysis of the state of the art in a technical-scientific domain (within the Computer Science area) . It is composed by a theoretical part, illustrating the methods for critical analysis of scientific literature, and a practical part, where the students will work as a group to write a survey on a scientific topic defined together with the tutors. The course is designed to improve the students' abilities to build and write the state of the art chapter of their masters' thesis.
