A two-week long live painting to create permanent Urban Art masterpieces. The initiative will see 3 exceptional Urban Artists at work together with 20 students of School of Design. Art, involvement and training, live painting and 2000 sqm of permanent artistic walls are the objectives of POLI Urban Colors 21.

The project is curated by Luca Mayr and supported by Politecnico di Milano and, from 1 to 11 June, Peeta, Rancy and Zed1 will be at work on the adjacent and external walls of the Durando Campus. The three artists, urban artists and internationally recognized and appreciated multidisciplinary designers, faithful to their artistic and stylistic research, are going to create context specific artworks that will be inspired by and dialogue with the visual identity and cultural horizon of the academic environment. As an - ideal - model of the Renaissance workshop, alongside Peeta, Zed1 and Rancy, 20 students of the School of Design, will work with a unique training experience, selected by a call with jury composed of the curator, the Deputy Dean of the School of Design, a Polimi executive and the President of the Politecnico student council.
