The course has the goal of introducing the students to the construction sites activities including all the different design, management, security aspects and the relationship with the other phases of the construction process.The proposal also aims at involving the stakeholders (the final users: students and teaching staff) through different types of participation in the activities of transformation of the Campus Leonardo learning spaces.The course will be organised with the support of the Area Tecnico Edilizia and it will be promoted and managed by the Coordination of the teachers of Architectural technology (Icar 12) of the ABC Dep. The course encompasses introductory seminars as well as guided visits to the Campus Leonardo construction sites selected according to the different building activities underway (from structural systems to decorating). The seminars will be held by: the architects/engineers involved in the different design phases, the ATE (goals, methods and tools for the project development, project and construction management), the ABC Architectural Technology academic staff, and specialists (techniques, materials, etc.) from the various companies delivering materials and components to the construction sites. Among the different topics also the development of the relation between innovative didactics and learning spaces is included. For the final evaluation the students will produce a report (possibly a multimedia document) developing a specific topic to be agreed on with the teachers.
