Description of the initiative
Milano Design PhD Festival is a program of meetings with the international protagonists of design culture.It is also an occasion to take part in the final PhD defenses of PhD candidates of Politecnico di Milano.All venues are open to the public from 20 to 22 February 2019 and are organized in English. Participants are required to attend the following activities: participation in the Opening Ceremony and in the Lectio Magistralis (February 20th, 4-6pm) and in the Design Pills (February 21st and 22nd, 3-5.30pm), short talks given by teachers and researchers from international universities. The Design Pills will address topics such as: smart spaces and cities, design innovation for social change, new frontiers for service design, new perspectives for fashion design, design and entrepreneurship.
