Description of the initiative

INTERNATIONAL DESIGN WORKSHOP ONLINE WITH INTERNATIONAL PARTNERS Participants in the KEA Charrette will be divided into international and interdisciplinary teams. This year, each team will have participants joining us virtually as well as participants on-site in Copenhagen. Working in blended teams can be a challenge, but also an important experience for future projects and work relations - during and after COVID blended work teams are becoming the norm. KEA will provide groups with access to shared digital platforms and physical spaces to accommodate the process inthe best possible way

1 week
100 students and advisors from all over the globe
5 local collaborators
10 innovative solutions   Unlimited network opportunities

Each team of students will be facilitated by 1 or 2 KEA students and consist of about 8-10 students from me- dia, communication, product design, web & software development, building construction, architecture, urban design and concept development. The facilitating KEA students will have completed a course in project facili- tation, but it is up to each team collaboratively to figure their group process.
Each team of students will be allocated a group of advi- sors that will typically consist of visiting faculty mem- bers, KEA faculty members and external advisors.
At the end of the week, the teams will present their results both to a jury and to their local collaborator.
