Description of the initiative
The course "How to tell things" will be held by Beppe Severgnini. How do you communicate important messages to a larger audience? How can we tackle complex issues when confronted with a larger audience? We will discuss writing skills, public speaking, television, radio, social media. 9 classes, 2 hours each. Each time there will be an introduction, a testimonial and interaction with participants.

BEPPE SEVERGNINI is a columnist and an editor at "Corriere della Sera". He has been an opinion writer for "The New York Times" from 2013 to 2021. His writing has also appeared in "The Economist", where he was the Italy correspondent from 1996 to 2003. To date he is the author of twenty books. The latest is Neoitaliani (2020), to be published in the USA in the spring of 2022. Among them Off the Rails - A Train Trip Through Life (2019) and USA bestsellers La Bella Figura: A Field Guide to the Italian Mind (2006) and Ciao, America! An Italian Discovers the US (2002).
