Description of the initiative

In the age of great change, we live in, ecosystems are changing, some are becoming extinct, and others are being created, affecting our activities at different levels. Creative processes undergo changes at the macro and micro scales. How to act in this context? How do seize opportunities for change? Gaining a retrospective understanding and perspective of change is critical. The exercises of the workshop aim at highlighting relationships between texts and images such as content entanglement, hypersynchronization / hyposynchronization, complex emergent properties, temporal and spatial resonance, conjunctions, functional distribution, calibration, etc. The final output of the workshop is to enable the theoretical characterization of a design theme. The workshop uses the reading of specific excerpts and analogical thinking exercises as a stimulus for reflection and understanding of the creative horizon of design. It draws on areas of knowledge such as economics, anthropology, archaeology, genetics, psychology, sociology, cosmology, history, and more.
