CASE STUDY
The current building of the Centre Hospitalier Universitaire (CHU) of Nantes and its neighborhood will be the case study of this workshop. The CHU Nantes will move to a new site in 2026 and its current site is from now on part of a large-scale participative debate on the renewal of the city center. In particular, this site is strategic for the city of Nantes from both an urban (articulation of the city-center with the Loire riverbank) and architectural (the renovation of this remarkable after WWII building) perspective.EXPERIENTIAL WALK & ENVIRONMENTAL ANALYSIS
- Subjective experience (experiential walk with the app City Sense)
- Climate conditions (Coolscapes Microclimate Cart)
- Blind walk (guided walk excluding sight to focus on other sensory elements)
- Augmented soundwalk (walk with ECHO app for an alternative auditory experience)
