The course is organized with the collaboration of the Cavalieri del Lavoro of the Gruppo Lombardo and c.MET05 (NationalUniversity Centre of Applied Economics). The Course focuses on the theme: "Entrepreneurship, Industry and development" and it is addressed to all students of Architecture and Engineering of the Politecnico di Milano. The course has an educational purpose and aims at developing a permanent communication channel between the University and the Industry in order to promote occasions of exchange and discussion among academicians, entrepreneurs, and students. The course aims at providing the students with perspectives and tools of analysis about the changes of the Italian industry and the role of the firm and of the entrepreneur in a context characterized by significant innovation and globalization rates.The course is composed of 6 structured seminars and one site-visit to a firm, and involves some well-known Cavalieri del Lavoro of the Gruppo Lombardo and professors of the Politecnico di Milano and of other prestigious universities. Each seminar includes the lecture of one professor about the topic of the day, which is followed by an interview to a Cavaliere on the topic. The Scientitifc Commettee is composed by: Patrizio Bianchi, Marco Di Tommaso, Elisa Barbieri (Coordinator), Paola Perna, Ilaria Mariotti (Reference Professor) and by the professors involved in the course.
