Description of the initiative
"design +" is an initiative to enrich and inspire our students' path through a series of meetings with some of the most influential and active voices today in different disciplines. A space of contamination for design to receive stimuli and be enriched by the integration with the world of ethical business, poetry, philosophy, magic, cinema.Conceived as part of the "Brand of me" course of Prof. Fabio Di Liberto, the meeting with Franco Arminio in particular represents a moment of reflection on themes of great and deep actuality, transversal and often unfortunately considered secondary in a world where only reason and analytical thought prevails: the role of countries, love, the body, death, wonder, nature. The poet, writer and director has been defined by Roberto Saviano "one of the most important poets of this country [...]", a man of past times in balance with modernity. His poetry requires a sensitivity and an effort to feel a little further, a little further back and a little more into the other. An encounter that contaminates the path of design, illuminating it with poetry and suggesting a human approach, attentive and sensitive to the future.
