Objective:
- The Course Critical Reasoning: Risk, Uncertainty and Argument (Learning by Doing) aims to provide in an innovative manner some methodological tools necessary to reason and argue in a sound way under conditions of risk and uncertainty.Tools:- The tools used will be those belonging to logic, philosophy, argumentation and psychology of thought applied to uncertain reasoning. The course contents will be presented and discussed interactively with the students.

• Risk Perception
• Risk Communication
• Risk and Moral Argumentation
• Decision Making under Severe Uncertainty

Criteria for passing the activity
- Each week an article will be assigned to the students and they will be asked to write a very short report showing its argumentative strengths or potential weaknesses. Each student report will be evaluated.
