A student of Politecnico di Milano among the winners of the Amazon Women in Innovation Award

Marta Krychkovska, student of the Laurea (equivalent to Bachelor of Science) programme in Mathematical Engineering at Politecnico di Milano is among the three winners of the second edition of Amazon Women in Innovation, a project that aims to support young female students in STEM disciplines.

The grant provides funding of 6,000 euros per year for three years and the support of an Amazon mentor to help students develop skills useful for future work, such as techniques to create an effective curriculum or face a job interview. Marta's mentor will be Giulia Rossi, an alumna of the EMBA at MIP, who now works at Amazon Web Service (AWS), where she also deals with female empowerment in technology.

The other winners of the scholarship are Federica Cantelmi and Letizia Licitra, students of Computer Engineering at the University of Tor Vergata and the Politecnico di Torino respectively.
