A new double Architecture degree with Southeast University
The fruitful collaboration between the Politecnico and the prestigious Chinese School of Architecture continues
The Politecnico di Milano and the Southeast University of Nanjing (China) signed, on the 25th of November, an agreement for a Double Degree in Architecture.
It is one of the outcomes of the memorandum of understanding signed in 2018, with which the two universities agreed to intensify bilateral relations.
This agreement is of great importance, as the Southeast University School of Architecture, founded in 1927, is the first architecture university school in China, has formed some of the most notable Chinese architects and is particularly prestigious for the quality of its academic research. It is also among the first positions in terms of Schools of Architecture according to Chinese rankings.
Attributing equal importance to both the artistic and technologic side of the discipline, the School is currently developing three principle subjects - Architecture, Urban Planning and Landscaping - that directly correspond with our School of Architecture Urban Planning Construction Engineering programs.
The Politecnico di Milano delegation is made up by Prof. Emilio Faroldi - Vice Rector, Prof. Ilaria Valente - President of the School of Architecture Urban Planning Construction Engineering, Prof. Federico Bucci - Vice Rector of the Polo di Mantova, Prof. Laura Pezzetti, proposer of the double degree program.
