Erasmus opportunities in 2020 for the university

PoliMI in Genoa for the national event

In the last few days (27-28 November), a delegation from the Politecnico di Milano attended the national Erasmus event dedicated to the presentation of opportunities offered by the Erasmus+ Programme for 2020 in higher education.

The event, held in Genoa, was organized by INDIRE, the National Agency for Erasmus+, and saw the participation of over 250 universities, as well as representatives of the European Commission, the Italian Ministry of Education and local institutions.

Against this backdrop, our University had the opportunity to explore the issues on the agenda and was invited to present activities to promote and manage the projects under Key Action 107, International Credit Mobility. Dr. Rossella Magni, head of the International Exchange Office, showed attendees a report entitled Elaborazione e Gestione di un progetto di qualità (“Designing and managing a high-quality project”).

International Credit Mobility is one of the key actions to be undertaken in collaboration with partner countries. A budget of approximately EUR 18.5 million has been allocated to Italy in the 2020 call and will be divided between the Italian institutions selected to send and welcome students and staff of mobility programmes from countries around the world.

The new Erasmus+ call is available at the following link. The most recent version of the Programme Guide can also be viewed online.
