Remuneration, Contribution and Taxes

In order to start collaborating with Politecnico di Milano, you must deliver to our Welcome Office:

• the job contract signed (Italian and English version)
• copy of your ID (passport, permit of stay, etc.)

You must also tell us:

• your address in Italy
• the italian fiscal code (look at What to do before coming to Italy) or – in case you will performe Personal Professional Services or in case you hold a VAT number – the foreign identification number
• the mode of payment (current account or cheque)

Our Welcome Office will guide you through the procedures regarding the fiscal and social obligations. The important thing you must know before coming to Italy is that you can choose if to pay taxes in your Country or in Italy (look at What to do before coming to Italy).

If you intend to open an Italian bank account, in Leonardo Campus you can find a branch of the Banca Popolare di Sondrio which will offer you the following conditions: 6,00€ to activate the account, 1,00€ the monthly rent; services offered: withdrawal and payment, Internet Banking, immediate IBAN.
