OFA Test (for Engineering)
How the OFA recovery test is carried out (only in Italian)
The OFA TEST is given to students enrolled in Engineering Programmes after passing the admission test with a score less than 60 (rounded to the nearest whole number).
Limitations
If you are enrolled with OFA TEST, you can include in the Study Plan only courses offered in the first year of the programme but, until the OFA will not be fulfilled, you cannot take any exam. Until the OFA TEST is not passed, it is not possible:
- to insert in the Study Plan extra courses and courses from academic year subsequent to the first one
- to submit an independent Study Plan
- to take part to the ongoing tests
- to enroll to any degree exam date
- to ask for a change of Study Programme
On the other side, during the academic years after the first one, it is allowed to include in the Study Plan new attendances of the courses offered in the first year and to attend again courses offered during the first year.
How to recover the OFA TEST
In order to recover the OFA TEST/OFA TOT you must repeat and pass the TEST (English, Logics, Mathematics and Statistics, Verbal Comprehension, Physics).
To recover the OFA TEST, you must repeat and pass the TEST section of TOL (Logic, Mathematics and Statistics, Verbal Comprehension, Physics).
You can sit the recovery OFA Test only once a month, during sessions regularly organized by Politecnico.
Registration to the OFA recovery test is free and must be made through the Online Services. Registrations generally start on 25th of the month (if it is not a holiday) preceding the data of taking the test.
To help you in fulfilment of the Additional Educational Obligations, Politecnico di Milano organizes for its students free math and physics review courses that will take place in the first weeks after enrollment.
Attention: Engineering students who have been assigned both OFA TEST and OFA ENG will have to repeat the entire Test On Line (TOL).
