How to Turn Complex Scientific Ideas into Stories That Inspire Passion
The new edition of the science communication course led by Massimo Polidoro and Lorenzo Paletti offers students a creative training ground to learn how to communicate science clearly and engagingly.
Starting from the mechanisms through which the human mind receives and interprets messages, the instructors will guide participants in exploring the fundamental techniques of science communication: simplifying without oversimplifying, storytelling, the conscious use of voice and language, strategies to capture and maintain attention, and much more.
What’s New This YearThis year, students will be invited to follow a new creative path: the production of narrative mini-videos—short stories designed to communicate a scientific concept in an immediate and effective way.
The course is also valuable for those who have already attended previous editions, as the focus will be on storytelling, with new content and fresh examples related to narrative techniques, as well as on the practical component, entirely dedicated to video production.Participants from past editions will be able to deepen their knowledge, experiment with different forms of expression, and refine their science communication skills.
