Description

The course wants to provide an overall view on the publishing activity, considering the complexities related to the current trends. Participants will have the possibility to apply processes and tools that are required to operate in the publishing field to produce and distribute multimedia contents. The topics presented during the course include: publishing trends, business model in the publishing industry, marketing and audience analysis, project management and legal aspects related to the publishing field

Educational project

The course aims at achieving the following objectives: - Provide an overview of the publishing market and its trends - Provide an understanding of tools and methos required to work within the publishing field during all its phases (from the selection of contents, until distribution and promotion), both with reference to digital and paper-based document. - Develop publishing and legal competences needed to transform and manage and editorial content using different media and channels - Develop the ability to select the most appropriate editorial content: from the selection of text until the contact with authors and publishing companies

Requirements

Bachelor or Master of Science. Equivalent foreign qualifications in their respective University Systems will be considered valid.
