Description
The Master collects and consolidates opportunities and resources developed by the University with reference to skills in the fields of architectural design, technology architecture, physics, environmental engineering, management of the built environment. The Master also uses resources, experience and expertise gained by the University of Milan ("Università degli Studi di Milano"), with regard to the sanitary aspects of social health structures and the "Università del Sacro Cuore" for the aspects of health care organization.
Educational project
The Master intends to train professionals working in medical fields, house- staff or private practice, planning environmental - hygienic conditions connected with healthcare design and management of healthcare facilities. Consequently the Master is oriented towards alumni who attend building construction (in each or every step, for wide- ranging title) starting from house planning to ending of the construction and bringing up to standard or those who attend buildings restructuring and renovation. MD (o professionals) are interested in obtaining the Master, holders or not major in Preventive Medicine and Hygiene, those with experience of working in Health Care Directorates or Hospital Centres who attend healthcare design and management of new healthcare facilities or healthcare restructuring and renovation, interacting with different kind of experts and who work in Local Health Authority standing over the procedure for enlistment of healthcare facilities.
Requirements
The Master's degree is open to applicants holding a Master of the Arts or Graduate Studies mainly in Architecture, Engineering, Industrial Design, Medicine and Surgery and any other academic subject within the Medical Field or to applicants holding recognized equivalent qualifications. The Selection Board has the responsibility to admit applicants with qualifications indifferent subjects than those above mentioned if the Master is real completion of the applicant?s graduate training scheme or (completion) of the applicant's skills and professional experience. Admission requirement for foreign applicants: qualifications equivalent in the respective study system.
