Amalia Ercoli Finzi among Forbes’ 100 most successful women in Italy

The prestigious magazine has honoured the honorary professor of the Politecnico di Milano

Among the 100 most successful women in Italy listed by the magazine Forbes Italia, readers can spot Amalia Ercoli Finzi, honorary professor at the Politecnico di Milano and first woman in Italy to obtain a degree in aeronautical engineering.

The list, as published in the April edition, boasts the names of women from different backgrounds, lifestyles, goals, but who have all been highly successful in their work and projects. Finally among these names we can see some tech women, including our very own Amalia Ercoli Finzi, who was one of this country’s true pioneers.

It is in this context that Forbes also underlines some quite shocking statistics: if women were to reach full equality in terms of workforce participation and executive roles, the global GDP would increase by an astounding 28 thousand billion dollars (+26%).

Have a look at her story, which we previously published some time ago on our website An interview with Amalia Ercoli Finzi, the "comet lady"
