Building Engineering/Architecture (5 years programme)

The Building Engineering/Architecture programme, which is based on a strong foundation of scientific, technical and engineering disciplines, trains professionals able to effectively manage complex architectural projects, providing them with the expertise required to control and manage the related technical and physical phenomena; this is in line with today’s demands about environmental quality, energy control and sustainability.

Surveys carried out by Politecnico di Milano showed that, despite the negative employment situation, a degree in engineering still provides good professional opportunities. In particular, the Building Engineering/Architecture degree shows full employment and very short times between graduation and job placement. Typical jobs for a Building Engineering/Architecture include: free lance architect or engineer; work in architectural offices and engineering companies; work in construction companies or in companies manufacturing building components.
