Physics Engineering

Academic year: 2024/2025

Programme duration: 3 years

Mission and goals

The programme has the objective of preparing professionals with a solid engineering background and detailed knowledge in the application areas of modern physics (material physics, optics, lasers and physical technologies and instrumentation). During the Bachelor of Science the student can decide on a professional activity aimed at applications of interest in the Information sector, with particular reference to photonics and radiation-matter interaction; or on a professional activity within the scope of issues of interest to the industrial sector, with particular reference to material physics.

Career opportunities

The graduate in Physics Engineering can be employed in all sectors where advanced technologies such as lasers and their applications, photonics, vacuum applications, materials technology and biomedical optics are developed.
