The admission modalities for the 2024/2025 a.y. will be published in a few months.

You can change the programme:

  • without takingthe Architecture entrance test (ARCHED) if you have the requirements listed in the table concerning transfers of the Guide for changing BSc

Notes for all students

A change of study programme can be requested only before the beginning of the academic year, according to specific procedures.

Even if the study plan (submitted after the conclusion of the change procedure) is complete with all the ECTS required for graduation, admission to the final exam is not allowed until the English OFA has been completed.

Deadlines

You can request an evaluation of your previous career between 15 May and 20 July 2023.

PROCEDURE FOR REQUESTING AN ASSESSMENT OF YOUR PREVIOUS CAREER

Instructions

Using your person code and password, log in to Online Services and select "Laurea (equivalent to a Bachelor of science) and five-year single-cycle programmes: previous career assessment for Admissions and Transfers". You can request evaluation of your academic career for a maximum of 3 degree programmes. You will be required to pay €60.00 for each evaluation request. This fee is non-refundable.

Follow the screens and carefully read the information shown on each page. The application will ask you to declare if you want an evaluation of your previous career.

If you declare that you "want the evaluation"

This means that your previous academic career will be evaluated and the result may imply that certain courses can be recognised. As a student enrolled at the Politecnico, you will see your entire previous career diss means that your previous career will be evaluated and the result may imply that certain courses can be recognised. played on the screen. Please remember to state, among the exams that you have yet to pass, which ones you are going to take after the submission date of the application for your career evaluation; you can do this through the “+” button next to the course. In case of non-selection, you cannot take any exam of the study programme of origin in exam dates after the submission date of application. If you have undeclared careers at other Universities and you require the exams taken during that educational career to be validated, you can apply for this during the evaluation request procedure by clicking on "edit/add titles" providing the University data and that of the Laurea study programme by manually adding the data related to the passed exams mentioned above. Click on the "confirm" button to complete the career evaluation application and proceed with the payment.

This operation must be carried out for each new study programme for which you apply for admission. If you request an evaluation of three different study programmes, you must go through this procedure three times, by clicking on the "New request" button.

For each programme for which you request an evaluation, you will be required to pay 60,00 €. The fee is non-refundable. Once the payment is received by the Politecnico di Milano, it will no longer be possible to modify the evaluation request, given that it will be sent to the commission.

The time required to process each evaluation may vary. If you have requested multiple evaluations, the acceptance of one evaluation will automatically invalidate any others. Academic records will be evaluated by 7 September 2023. We recommend that you wait for the results of all evaluations before accepting any of them.

By 13 September 2023 (for those who pass without a test) or within the deadlines provided for each update of the ranking list (for those who are required to take the test), you must check the status and the possible result of your evaluation application by accessing your application. Once you received the result you must: reject the evaluation result / accept the evaluation result.

If you have accepted the result of the career evaluation, the exams of the study programme of origin that have obtained OPTIONAL VALIDATION (see optional validation column YES and relative validated exam) can be taken in the exam dates provided by the academic calendar, 2022/2023 even after the date of acceptance of the request for a career evaluation. If passed they will be validated; if not passed they will become New Attendances in the new study programme.

If you declare that you "do not want the evaluation"

You are declaring that you do not want the exams of your previous career to be recognised. This choice cannot be changed at a later date. In this case, the only way to transfer is to pass the Architecture entrance test and if you are included in the ranking lists according to the different registration periods.
