Dynamics and Vibrations

The research line “Dynamics and Vibration of Mechanical Systems” is organized in three research groups, namely: - Mechatronics and Robotics (M&R) - Rotordynamics (RTD) - Wind Engineering (WND) although the three groups deal with well different topics and applications, they are linked by the use of the same research methods and approaches, including among others: modelling of linear and non-linear dynamic systems, stability and self excited vibrations, active control of mechanical systems, condition monitoring and diagnostics.
