Researches are focused on construction and study of mathematical models for random phenomena in engineering, physics, finance, biology and medicine, both theoretical and applied. The methods are those typical of Probability, Mathematical Statistics and Stochastic Analysis. The research line is organized in 4 groups. Namely, 1. Quantum and Classical Probability with Applications to Physics 2. Stochastic analysis and control 3. Mathematical and applied statistics 4. Mathematical finance
