Electrical and electronic measurement

The activity of this research line is focused on the analysis and development of new methodologies and devices for digital signal analysis and processing, and the metrological characterization of the modern, complex measurement systems. The developed methods have been applied to different measurement situations, ranging from the classical electric measurements applied to device and material characterization, power-quality analysis and component diagnosis to more recent applications, such as on-line diagnosis and control of the instabilities of thermonuclear plasma and electric and acoustic tomography methods for the detection of pollutants in soil and water.
