Surveying, Geodesy, Photogrammetry, GIS, Geomatics and Cartography
The main objective of the research line is to provide base research and applications for development of Technological-Math-InfoGraphic-Stochastic tools, with the aim to promote new acknowledgements and interdisciplinary cooperation in better understanding some environment mechanism governing processes. The involved disciplines can play an important role in the analysis and dynamic transformations on the earth, risk prevention, planning, maximizing safeguard and conservation, programmed maintenance of territory and on cultural heritage (environmental, architectural, artistic patrimony) through interoperable data management (3dGEoDBASE/3dGIS/WeBGIS) accessible to a continuously expanding user community. The research line is organized into four groups, namely: - Geodesy; - Surveying, monitoring, photogrammetry, modeling; - GIS and cartography; - Remote sensing.
