History of architecture and restoration
The research line “History of architecture and restoration” is focussed on analytical tools and conservation methods applied to architectural heritage, from ancient to modern architecture. The groups are committed to fine-tune analytical and intervention methods using different approaches aimed at the valorisation of architectural heritage and landscape as fundamental dimensions of territorial, societal and cultural development. The research line is organized in three groups: - History of conservation, analysis and diagnostic evaluation of historic and modern buildings - Historical buildings and landscape - The architectural culture in the Restoration’s age.
