Time, mobility and safety planning

The research line “Time, mobility and safety planning” proposes an approach which tries to look at urban problems as the outcome of the interaction of a set of complex factors: - the temporary dimension of urban functioning; - the interaction between quality of public space and social life; - the interaction between quality of spatial design and safety - the interaction between mobility and spatial organization of urban contexts. It is organized in two groups: - Urban time and mobility planning - Complexity in the governance of urban transformation and environmentally sustainable development.
