Applied Catalysis

The Department of Materials, Chemistry and Chemical Engineering of Politecnico di Milano has a long tradition in the field of heterogeneous catalysis. In the last decades the research activity in this field has gradually shifted from applications in industrial chemical process to novel fields associated with the minimization of the environmental impact of energy conversion processes both in stationary power stations and in transport applications. The present focus of the research activity and its future trends will be described in the next sections.
