Aeronautics and space

The University contributes to research in both the aeronautical and space sectors, where we are particularly involved in helicopters and experimental work. These are, of course, in addition to other specifically-organised research projects. The University can provide a wealth of articulated, inter-connected laboratories allowing for collaboration with the aerospace industry involving a great many different sectors: structural tests, materials, metallurgy and fluid dynamics. Most of these report to the Department of Aerospace Engineering, but many others pertain to related and complementary areas. They all come together to create a complete, integrated offer.
