The main topic of the research group concerns the recycling of construction and demolition waste. The specific basic studied subjects are: - recycling of building materials - demolition techniques - recycling plants - recycled aggregate - recycled concrete - performance of recycled concrete - durability of recycled material - economical study on recycling process. The key aim of the current research program is the full and comprehensive characterization of structural elements, also by means of using the results obtained from the experimentation carried out during the last year. The unit has also carried out some research on R-HPC (recycled - high performance concrete).
